What is Cosmetic Acupuncture?

Cosmetic acupuncture uses the principles of acupuncture to treat the signs of aging. It is a non-surgical procedure that uses a natural process (no lasers or chemical peels) to reduce the lines of wrinkles and improve skin tone. Acupuncture needles are inserted into acupuncture points on the face to increase circulation and stimulate the production of collagen, which will fill out the lines of the face.

Cosmetic acupuncture benefits:
helps minimize or eliminate fine lines;
helps reduce a double chin;
helps reduce frown lines;
helps lift sagging skin, puffy or droopy eyelids;
increases collagen production;
brightens the eyes;
improves muscle tone and dermal elasticity;
improves hormonal balance to reduce acne;
evens facial colour and tone;
increases blood, energy and lymph circulation;

Each treatment lasts 1.5 hours. Treatment will include:

  • Facial Assessment (15 min.)
  • Acupressure Therapy (15 min.)
  • Facial Treatment (1 hr.)

Each treatment course lasts 5 sessions and 2 treatment courses of 10 sessions are recommended for best results, one session a week. Results can be visible after the 1st treatment course.
